Working and Playing Together

The Independence School is known for its welcoming community and active family involvement. Through the Independence Parents’ Association (IPA), parents find many ways to dive into school life and be supportive of their child's school. Volunteer opportunities, social activities, and parenting resources are all within easy reach for the Independence community. We hope that you will take this chance to explore all aspects of our school community and keep up-to-date with the latest news, social media feeds, photo galleries and upcoming events.

The Independence community has a magical way of making new students and parents feel welcome. We love having a chance to get to know our children’s teachers, other families, and the many opportunities to gather in social settings, both with our children and adult-only events.
