This week, our 4th graders welcomed parents and guests to the State Fair, the culmination of several weeks of intensive research. After being randomly assigned a U.S. state, students developed persuasive "pitches" to highlight what makes their region unique.

Each booth featured a creative, informational tri-fold poster that served as a visual guide for their presentations. To engage visitors, students also provided themed giveaways, including hand-drawn flags, custom illustrations, and local recipes. By merging geographical research with public speaking, this social studies event allowed students to demonstrate their expertise in a vibrant, interactive environment.
