The 33rd Annual Patriotic Program

Recently, we proudly celebrated the 33rd annual Patriotic Program, a beloved Independence tradition led by our talented 3rd graders. This program helps our students deepen their respect for our country and grow in their understanding of the courage and commitment shown by those who protect the freedoms we enjoy each day.

With inspiring remarks from Major Robert Ford, U.S. Army National Guard and current parent, and an excellent performance by the students, this was an evening to remember.

Bravo to our third graders for their poise and passion, and heartfelt thanks to Michelle Robinson and Amy Holt for guiding them through this meaningful and memorable event. Also, a sincere thank you to pianist Bruce Vrana, who has graciously accompanied the Patriotic Program for more than 25 years, ever since his own children were students at Independence.
