As summer draws to a close, Independence faculty and staff gathered on campus for In-Service Week. These built-in planning days play a vital role in our school year, offering our team dedicated time to set the foundation for success before the school year officially begins.

We kicked off the week sharing breakfast together before diving into essential preparations, from setting up welcoming classroom spaces to completing required CPR and medical training. Full-group meetings provided a space to celebrate achievements, set expectations, and build momentum for the months ahead. To wrap up the week, everyone gathered for a family potluck party—a great opportunity to connect with colleagues.
