Learning Through Field Trips
This past week, our kindergarten students had the opportunity to get off campus for an exciting trip to Ashland Nature Center where they experienced some Native American traditions. They spent time in a longhouse dwelling, saw arrowheads found on the land, and played games created from materials used by the Native Americans of this region.
Thanks to Independence parent, Dr. Fiss, third graders visited the orthodontic offices of Alpine and Rafetto. The students learned about dental health, what happens at the office on a daily basis including the many services they offer, as well as proper dental hygiene and healthy foods to eat.
