Independence Honors Coach Farrell Goble with Volleyball Court Dedication

The Independence School community gathered recently to honor the legacy of longtime volleyball coach Farrell Goble with the dedication of the Farrell L. Goble Volleyball Court.

Coach Goble, who led Independence volleyball for more than 25 years, was known not only for his coaching expertise but also for the positive impact he had on generations of student-athletes. His steady leadership, encouragement, and deep love of the game helped shape Independence volleyball into the thriving program it is today. The dedication ceremony celebrated his lasting influence on the court and beyond.

In addition to the court dedication, the Goble family recently established the Farrell L. Goble Endowed Memorial Fund for Volleyball. This endowed fund will provide ongoing support for Independence Athletics, including coaches’ compensation and approved volleyball-related expenses, ensuring that Coach Goble’s legacy continues to inspire student-athletes for years to come.

We look forward to future seasons played on the Farrell L. Goble Volleyball Court, carrying forward the values and spirit of the coach who helped define the program.
