Earlier this week, all 3 kindergarten classes participated in the first annual Nursery Rhyme Olympics! The games served as a culminating activity to celebrate all that these students have learned in their Nursery Rhymes and Fables unit. Through the six themed events - Baa Baa Black Sheep Sack Hop, Humpty Dumpty Egg Carry, Jack Be Nimble Candlestick Hurdles, Little Jack Horner Pie Race, Little Miss Muffet Spider Pass, and Mother Goose Waddle - students had the chance to revisit and engage with familiar rhymes in an active way. This special day not only reinforced the stories, characters, and rhythms they've been exploring but also gave kindergarten a joyful opportunity to come together and showcase their learning.
