Bee-ing Curious at Independence

This week, our ECI and ECII students enjoyed a special visit from Cob Hill Farms to learn all about honey bees. Students discovered how bees are cared for and how honey is harvested, and one student from each class even had the chance to try on a beekeeper suit. They also made candles from beeswax, crafted pinecone bees, and had the opportunity to sample fresh honey from the farm!
