2nd and 3rd Grade Field Trips
Both of our 2nd and 3rd grade classes were off campus on Tuesday of this week learning all about animals!
The 2nd grade students went to Brandywine Creek State Park where they learned about a variety of animals and how they build their homes. They even got a chance to create their own bird's nest using materials found in nature!
Meanwhile, the 3rd grade students traveled to the Philadelphia Zoo as a culminating activity to their animal research paper in which students pick an animal of their choice and study their habitat, appearance, diet, young, special adaptations, and characteristics!
