Steps to Admission
Our admission process is designed to help us get to know our potential students and families. We hope it helps you get to know Independence as well. We encourage all prospective families to attend one or more admission events and schedule a personal conversation with a member of the admission team. Campus tours are also available.
The Admission Office will be here for you all the way and you'll find everything you need for the application process in the Admission Portal, including some additional instructions. For questions, please call the Admission Office at 302-239-0332 or email Ashley Palandrani, Director of Admission.
1. Submit an application online
2. Upload your child's necessary documentation
3. Work with the Admission Office to schedule appropriate grade level assessment
Important Dates For Applicants
Applications for all grades are accepted any time and are considered on a rolling basis as space allows. Please note that all students for EC I & II must be fully toilet-trained prior to the first day of school. Child's birthday must be before Sept. 15 for ECI, ECII & K.
