The Founders' Library is an open environment accessible to all students throughout the school day. The library contains 16,000 volumes, including 400 electronic books, and a wide variety of technological resources to serve the students of Independence.


Early Childhood and Kindergarten classes visit the library weekly for story time and to check out books. Lower and Middle School students go to the library once every cycle for Technology & Media Literacy classes.
