MIDDLE SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHER

Position Summary:
The Independence School is currently seeking interested candidates to fill the position of middle school English teacher. Applicants should demonstrate superior and current knowledge of the content area and be able to elicit deep, engaging active learning for all students. They should be proficient in expanding students’ knowledge related to vocabulary, literature, grammar, and composition. Experience at the secondary or middle school level required, as well as a degree in the area of English – masters or above preferred.

Full-Day or Partial-Day substitute Nurses

Position Summary:
The Independence School is looking for nurses interested in substituting for full or partial days.

Requirements are as follows:

  • R.N. License
  • CPR & AED Certification 
  • Basic computer knowledge 
  • 1 year minimum clinical nursing experience

School nursing experience is preferred but not necessary.
