130,000-sq. ft. building on 90 acres, including an outdoor conservancy area for science and nature exploration, ponds and streams, and a 57,000-sq. ft. outdoor classroom adjacent to the Early Childhood/Kindergarten classrooms. Five athletic fields, six tennis courts, a track, baseball diamond and age-appropriate playgrounds. Indoor highlights include a 900-seat auditorium, full-size gymnasium, library, science labs, Innovation Station, art rooms and gallery.
Sequential and spiraling academic curriculum includes an emphasis on the communication and language arts, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), history, geography, world language, economics and Learning Applications (LeAppsTM). Middle School Character Development Program with an emphasis on citizenship and leadership.
Clubs and activities include interscholastic and intramural Athletics, Student Government Association, Student Ambassadors, Science Olympiad, Quiz Bowl, Math League, Mathcounts, Drama Club, Art Club, FIRST LEGO League, and others.
The school day runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Flexible before and after-school Extended Day is available for all students. Clubs, enrichment activities and athletics meet after school. Supervised study halls for homework are also available.
