The Independence School is 3/4 mile south of the intersection of Route 7 and Paper Mill Road.

We liked the serious outlook the school had with education, balanced with allowing the children to have fun and get involved with other aspects of learning. The teachers were very welcoming and easy to talk to. In the end, we felt that the comparable, if not more impressive curriculum, coupled with a more manageable tuition, were well worth the commute.
