Making Summer Reading Fun!

Image

This month, students in grades 4-8 showcased their summer reading knowledge by working on a variety of projects specific to their grade level and teacher. Pictured examples include (above) the fifth grade's creation of "Bloom Balls," with each of the figure's 12 sides representing a different comprehension topic related to the books, and (below) storyboards from Mrs. Fabian's sixth-grade class that featured a collection of six art panels based on different parts of the novel.

Picture Days

Individual and class photo days will take place on Wednesday (lower school) and Thursday (middle school) of this week. Please see below for all the details and ordering information.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

The Student Government Association's Executive Committee recently met to put together ideas for fundraisers to help those impacted by the recent hurricanes. After thoughtful discussion, we are excited to have both a "Quarter War" for our middle school students and a "Coin Drive" for our lower schoolers (details are available by clicking the links). This fundraiser started Monday and will run through the remainder of the week. We appreciate any contribution that your child makes, and we hope our school will be able to make a nice donation to the American Red Cross.
