Tuition & Fees

Financial Terms

Application and Testing Fee

A $75.00 non-refundable application and testing fee must accompany the application. Early Childhood I and II applications are guaranteed the required testing at the appropriate time.

Enrollment Fee

When the parents accept an offer for admission, an enrollment fee of $500.00 is due with the formal Enrollment Contract. This fee is deducted from the first tuition payment but is neither refundable nor transferable once a position has been reserved.

Re-enrollment Fee

Presently enrolled students reserve their places for the next school year by paying 10% of the annual tuition by February 1 of the current school year. This fee is not refundable but is deducted from the first payment due July 1.

Bond Obligation

Families who do not already hold an Independence School Membership Bond must purchase one ($500) within 30 days of signing the Enrollment Contract. The school will repurchase bonds within 30 days of the student’s departure provided all financial obligations to the school are satisfied.

Financial Aid

The Independence School is fortunate to be able to offer financial assistance for those with demonstrated need. The program is coordinated through the School Scholarship Service of Princeton, New Jersey. Financial aid is for one year only; recipients must reapply each year. Financial aid grants are available for students in ECI through grade 8. Contact the business office for details.
